1. Will these headers fit the 997.2 Turbo or 997 Carrera models?
No. These headers are exclusively engineered for the 997.1 Turbo 3.6L Mezger engine. The 997.2 Turbo uses a completely different 3.8L DFI engine with revised cylinder head port angles, and naturally aspirated Carrera models feature different manifold geometry and crossover piping.
2. Will installing these headers trigger a Check Engine Light (CEL)?
No. The primary catalytic converters and oxygen sensors on the 997.1 Turbo are located downstream after the turbochargers. Upgrading the exhaust manifolds will not trigger a CEL.
3. Is cutting or welding required during installation?
No. The exhaust is precision-engineered from 3D laser-scanned data. 100% bolt-on installation allows a return to stock at any time. (Reuses factory outlets).
